This privacy policy describes how the link-shortening service operated at lilac-orbit.com and app.lilac-orbit.com (the "Service") collects, uses and stores information. The Service is a self-hosted instance of the open-source Dub software and is operated by an individual, not by Dub Technologies, Inc.
Account holders. When you sign in with Google or GitHub we receive your name, email address and profile picture from that provider. We store these to identify your account and workspace. We do not receive or store your password for those services.
Visitors who open a short link. When a short link is opened we record the time of the click, the destination, the country, region and city derived from the IP address, the device type, browser and operating system, and the referring page. The full IP address is not stored. This data is used to produce aggregate click analytics for the link owner.
Cookies. The dashboard uses a session cookie to keep you signed in. Short links may set a first-party cookie to attribute conversions to a click. No third-party advertising cookies are used.
We do not sell personal information and do not use it for advertising.
The Service runs on infrastructure provided by Vercel (application hosting, Frankfurt region), PlanetScale (database, Frankfurt), Upstash (cache and job queue, EU), Tinybird (click analytics, Frankfurt) and Cloudflare (DNS and file storage). These providers process data only on our behalf.
Account data is kept for as long as the account exists. Click analytics are kept for as long as the related link or workspace exists. You can delete links, workspaces and your account from the dashboard at any time, which removes the associated data.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at the address below. If you are in the EU/EEA you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
